Your business

The Code of Standards

By joining, your business signs the NRSA Code of Standards:

  1. Written estimates. Provide a written, itemized estimate (scope, materials, and price) before any work begins.
  2. Price integrity. Honor the estimated price unless the scope changes, and document any change order in writing with the customer's approval before proceeding.
  3. Licensing and insurance. Hold every license legally required where the job is performed, and carry active general liability insurance (and workers' compensation where required) on every job.
  4. No pressure tactics. No manufactured urgency and no demanding payment in full before work begins.
  5. Written warranty. State workmanship warranty terms in writing: what is covered, and for how long.
  6. Complaint response. Acknowledge customer complaints within five business days and work in good faith toward resolution.
  7. Honest advertising. Represent credentials, affiliations, reviews, and this Association's badge truthfully in all marketing.
  8. Accountability. Cooperate with NRSA's complaint process and accept that membership may be revoked for documented violations of this Code.

Membership: $1 for 30 days, then $399/year

What you're agreeing to. Your card is charged $1 today, which covers your first 30 days of full membership. On day 30, unless you cancel first, your card is automatically charged $399 for a full year, and membership renews automatically each year after that at the then-current annual price. We email you these terms again right after you join, about three days before the $399 charge, and about 30 days before every renewal. Each notice includes the date, the amount, and how to cancel. Cancel any time in your first 30 days from the member portal and you pay nothing beyond the $1. Once the annual fee has been charged it is non-refundable; cancelling then stops future renewals and your membership runs to the end of the year you paid for. Full details in the Terms of Service.
